I am OperationBandAid's founder, Jo Armstrong. After many years working in Film, Television and the entertainment world I met 'Butane', a high energy pop punk band based out of LA. I began helping the band with photos and bios, then started booking shows for them. Butane has supported such acts as The Addicts and Social Distortion as well as a summer 2004 residency at Universal City Walk's Hard Rock Cafe. Butane is also now in talks with National Lampoon to provide the feature song for their new movie, Cattle Call,(scheduled for Summer 2005 release) and have interest from several record labels. Butane, like your band, has huge passion and just needed the help from someone to clarify, organize and steer their goals. I decided to form this company, bring my contacts and expertise together and help bands obtain their goals without spending a for bad quality products. This is not a management company, this is a service company providing help and contacts needed to aid any band wanting to make a dream reality.
